Housekeeping SupervisorWe are currently recruiting for a Housekeeping Supervisor who will work within our Housekeeping Department. As part of the Housekeeping team, you will be operating at a fast-paced centre of excellence. You will have the opportunity to train and manage new staff members. Be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of service
Must be a team player with the ability to multitask
Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic with great attention to detail
Anticipate guest’s wants and needs
Respond to any customer complaints in an efficient manner and always ensuring guest satisfaction
To have strong product knowledge
Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to act as a self-starter and clearly understand the work priorities
Responsible for training and supervising staff
Ability to deliver on strict deadlines each day
Must be knowledgeable in hotels par stock level policies and order procedures
Ensure room attendants have all tools and cleaning products required to carry out their jobs in a safe and hygienic manner
Requirements:
2 – 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a % star luxury environment
In-depth knowledge of the Accommodation department
Commitment to training and development of staff within the department
Skills: communication, presentation, planning and organizational
Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks
Knowledge of financial management and Microsoft Office
Ability to work in a quality and fast paced service environment
Develop a strong working relationship with colleagues in your department and related departments
Attention to detail and high standards required
Excellent proficiency of the English language, both verbal and written is essential
