Role: HR and Communications OfficerLive: 28 May 2024Type: PermanentLocation: GalwayAzon Recruitment Group are working closely with a leading national of Ireland’s leading general building contractors to recruit for a HR Communications and Marketing Coordinator.The successful candidate will assist the Marketing & Communications Director and the broader marketing team in executing the annual marketing plans. This role involves continually maintaining, developing, and promoting the brand through support and innovation.Requirements:

  • This role involves continually maintaining, developing, and promoting the brand through support and innovation.
  • Demonstrated success in day-to-day marketing and communications activities, both internal and external, including regular newsletters.
  • Strong background in digital marketing, including advertising, content creation, and channel development.
  • Coordination with external agencies and suppliers, from professional printing to website developers.

The Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing and communications roles, focusing on strategy development and plan management.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, PR, Business, or a related field
  • Proven experience in brand management and increasing brand awareness.
  • Experience in PR initiatives, multi-channel advertising campaigns, media monitoring, and reputation management.
  • Previous experience in business development, including lead generation, CRM system usage, and creating client presentations.
  • Familiarity with the construction industry, especially in prequalification processes, is a plus.
  • Strong digital marketing skills, including proficiency in SEO, social media, and online advertising.
  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite for presentations and content creation.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Project management skills for overseeing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging.
