We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Operations lead to join our Fannin Ireland HR team. The HR Operations lead will play a critical role in managing and optimising HR processes, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and supporting the overall HR function. This position requires a blend of operational expertise, strong analytical skills, and a passion for improving HR systems and processes.The role sits within the HR team for the Fannin Ireland business (currently a team of 3) and will have one direct report (an HR Advisor). Key responsibility areas will include coordination and implementation of HR processes, policies and programs relating to all stages of the employee lifecycle, payroll, and benefits administration, and first-line employee relations advice including short & long-term absence case management.This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional with a background and track record in HR operations / service delivery, to progress into a supervisory role, with the added opportunity to manage & deliver improvement projects in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibility and Result Areas:

  • HR Process Management:
  • Oversee and manage daily HR operations, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and records management.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement HR technology solutions.
  • Be the point of contact for HR processes and internal audits, and for ensuring accuracy and compliance with the quality management system.
  • Payroll & Benefits:
  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the monthly payroll process.
  • Build a proactive relationship with the Finance/Payroll team and seek opportunities to streamline processes.
  • Responsible for benefits administration on a periodic basis (pensions, health insurance, fleet), supported by the HR Advisor.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
  • Oversee the onboarding process for all sites to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for new hires, including contract generation and monthly induction delivery.
  • Responsible for overseeing recruitment for the Aerodrome site to ensure adequate resourcing and skills needs are met in a quality and timely way.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Be a first point of contact for employee inquiries and issues, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures. Refer complex ER matters to the HR Manager.
  • Take ownership of absence management for all sites, providing advice to managers on relevant policies; managing referrals to Occupational Health, and providing proactive management of long-term cases.
  • HR Systems and Technology:
  • Oversee the management of the HR information system (Success Factors) for the Ireland division, ensuring data integrity.
  • Take responsibility for the provision of robust and accurate HR data for the HR Manager and the Ireland division through use of standard and bespoke reports and dashboards.
  • Champion the self-service benefits of the systems for all employees and managers, up skilling managers on system functionality where required.
  • Performance Management & Learning Administration:
  • Assist the HR Manager in the performance management cycle, where necessary support managers in conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to employees.
  • Provide administrative support for training & development initiatives as required.
  • Experience & profile:
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) with previous experience in a HR operations or service delivery role with responsibility for all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
  • Previous experience of working within a multi-site environment with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders who often have different priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR technologies; experience with Success Factors is a plus.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Results-focused, hands-on style with a passion for results
  • Proven to quickly establish credibility and to forge effective working relationships both internally and externally.
  • A CIPD qualification is desirable.

Other Information:

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU/ ROI
  • The role will require travel to sites around Ireland on a regular basis.
