Overview:This would be a great career move if you are able to: –
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders to achieve high levels of trust, respect and professionalism.
- To be the primary point of contact for day-to-day HR queries regarding standard procedures – e.g. payroll, benefits, sickness absence, holiday requests, and to be an approachable presence across the group businesses to enable this to be so.
- Maintain company policies and procedures, and the Employee Handbook, in accordance with current legislation and best practice.
- Provide front line support and advice to managers on the implementation of Company policies and procedures, ensuring that Janus are compliant with relevant regulations, legislation, Janus values and best practice.
- Advise and coach managers on how the people agenda may be ‘worked’ to deliver success.
- Identify skills gaps and development needs in managers and deliver business focused solutions to develop capability.
- Drive a culture of high performance where talent is recognised, stretched and poor performance managed (ideally to achieve higher levels of performance).
- Challenge team cultures and behaviours to ensure that they are consistent with organisational culture at all times.
- Management of talent activities, including recruitment, onboarding, talent development, offboarding.
- Be the subject matter expert in employee relations matters, including: grievance and disciplinary matters, absence management, retention & performance management, effectively managing risk to the business.
- Provide managers with advice and guidance through all HR cases and oversee to an outcome in a timely manner.
- Manage the HR & Payroll platform as well as being an expert to support any queries.
- Lead on group change programmes and ad hoc projects where required.
Responsibilities:Some of your key responsibilities as our Human Resource Business Partner will be to: –
- Stay up to date on knowledge of good practice and emerging trends in the field of HR.
- Learning and development, resourcing, employee relations, remuneration and benefits.
- Experience of supporting the implementation of change initiatives, ideally within a rapidly growing or evolving business setting
- Numerically competent with proven experience producing quality management information with trend analysis aimed at stakeholders at multiple levels. Strong knowledge of HR systems
The location: This is an office-based role in our head office based in Twickenham.If successful first stage interviews will take place the week commencing during the beginning of August with this role due to start at the beginning of September. Qualifications:
- Ideally CIPD qualified to level 5 or above or holding an equivalent qualification with a business management or HRM focus.
- Intermediate microsoft skills required; Outlook, Excel, Work, Email, and preferred ADP experince.
