Learn more at: telusinternational.comPosition overviewAs the Human Resources Director for TELUS International’s Artificial Intelligence Data Solutions division, you’ll lead HR services for a global team of over 2000 members. Your role encompasses engagement, employee satisfaction, HR processes, attrition and retention strategies, organizational development, and leadership support across various countries.Key responsibilities:Serve as a strategic partner to the Operations VP for AI, fostering effective relations with external clients and serves as the primary interface of clients.Proactively address internal client needs, ensuring HR metrics and service level agreements are met.Foster morale and productivity within the team. Provides direction, mentoring, coaching, and counseling to direct reports and the rest of the team aligned with company values.Address emerging employee issues promptly and collaborate with support functions for resolution.Participates in the budget process and manages the departmental budget efficiently while leading organizational change efforts.Spearhead global initiatives related to performance management, succession planning, climate surveys, leadership training and culture development.Effectively liaise with TELUS HR and leads efforts or initiatives related to the Implementation of the Respectful Workplace, Integrity, Ethics, Corporate Security and Privacy policies. Oversees the CSR strategies and initiatives of the company.Provide thought leadership on organizational strategy and execute HR projects to enhance employee experience and minimize risk.Provide proactive leadership and change management expertise in support of strategic business initiatives, projects and changes. Apply expert knowledge of key business drivers in making decisions related to human capital.Conduct and manage investigation of complaints and concerns that could result in legal ramifications; assess the severity, involve appropriate individuals and facilitate appropriate action based on policy and practice.Ensure effective utilization of all location employees; identify and evaluate capabilities and serve as lead in the deployment of resources to meet business needs.Requirements:Minimum of 24 months as TELUS International employee.Minimum of 12 months in current position as a people leader within HRSchedule flexibility.Core Competencies:Managing self developmentEmbracing technologyFocusing on customersGiving supportLeadership Competencies:Providing leadershipLeading changeBuilding effective teamsManaging stakeholdersFunctional competencies:Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.Experience in project management and customer service.Demonstrated knowledge of HR theory and best practices.Qualifications:Over ten years of global HR experience and more than three years in leadership roles, preferably within the call center, customer service, or AI industries.Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Business, Human Resources, or equivalent.Master’s degree is a plus.Ability to maintain high confidentiality and influence management teams.Experience in a highly matrixed global team environment.IT skills and familiarity with HR databases.English – B2: Oral and written comprehension, Appropriate use of languageLocation:

  • Remote – US, Central America, Costarica, Ireland, Finland, India or Philippines
