Human Resources Manager – KilkennyOur client, an exceptional 4-star hotel based in Kilkenny are seeking to recruit a HR Manager to join their team.The successful candidate will be part of the Senior Leadership team and will support the HR management of our client’s Kilkenny based property.The key focus of this role is managing recruitment, talent development and retention, culture, ER and employer brand whilst leading and delivering on values and behaviours.The successful individual will have the following:

• 3+ years previous experience in a senior HR role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Employment Law.
• Experience in leading HR within a hotel environment.
• CIPD member status.

Duties of the role will include:

• Design and implementation of the HR strategies & procedures.
• Creation and management of all HR policies and procedures.
• Management of the HR Executives across both locations.
• Fostering an open and genuine culture to deal with interpersonal relationships.
• Management of investigations, disciplinaries and outcomes for all sites.
• Sole responsibility for HR/IR related issues for the group including reporting risks and concerns to the Executive Team and representing at state bodies if necessary.
• Working closely with the H & S Representatives on site and attending the H & S external audits.
• Collaborate with HODs, DMs and Supervisors to advise and coach them on people management situations.
• Mentor newly promoted leaders and meet regularly to support them in their new role.
• Responsible for overall recruitment.
• Training needs analysis and creation of training plans and accessing relevant funding streams.
