Job Title: Human Resources Officer – SOC 3562 of ONS Occupation Coding Ireland Job Location: eir, 2 Heuston South Quarter, St John’s Road West, Dublin 8, D08Y42N Duration: Permanent Salary: 34,000 euros per annum Hours per week: 37.5 working hours per week Benefits: Sick pay, company pension scheme Minimum Qualification: Level 7 (incl Diploma and Ordinary Bachelor Degree) OR Administration, Business, Management, HR Experience required: 2 years or above Language: Good command of the English language desirable Job knowledge, skills and responsibilities required to possess and perform as below: Responsible for managing key aspects of the employment process, including orientation and training new staff members. Provision of HR support to grievance and disciplinary procedures Planning corporate events and other team-building activities. Ongoing engagement with the payroll functions to ensure the appropriate management of new joiners, leavers and to ensure all changes in contracts are actioned. Overhaul company induction programme and member of steering committee to improve the on-barding process for all new hires. Support employees in their continued professional training and development. Reviewing and updating employment policies and procedures in line with relevant legislation Issuance of contracts to new hires in a timely manner. Full responsibility for the occupational health process, including but not limited to, the implementation of a full mental health and wellbeing programme. Work with all stakeholders to implement a new online occupation health portal, MeddBase. Integrate this and other processes with our existing IT systems. Full responsibility for the Pension Scheme Administration – ensuring all employees are set up as well as removed from HR systems and processed by payroll in a timely manner. Resolving employee queries in relation to Pension entitlements Managing relevant ad hoc projects, assigned by the HR Leadership team, ensuring that BAU activity is managed simultaneously. Assist with embedding our new HRIS system in the business, appointed HR super user in order to support our employees. Conducting workshops and training sessions across teams. This would entail training HR Business Partners and all other stakeholders on new processes, systems, policy updates and initiatives. Provision of monthly reports to the HR Leadership team regarding Occupational Health statistics and delivery of HR Operations against HR KPIs Maintain a superior working knowledge of current healthcare legislation, employer responsibilities and inform management of changes needed before they arise. Assist in revision of HR Officer policies ensuring the policies are consonant with latest regulations. Management of employee benefit schemes ; ensuring payment/expenses are paid on a regular basis. Systems administration – updating employee records when required. Answering queries on the HR Helpdesk in a professional and prompt manner.
