A rapidly expanding global leader in data center cooling solutions is looking for an experienced, organized, and detail-focused HVAC Service Engineer to join their Dublin team. The role involves servicing and maintaining critical cooling systems throughout Ireland.The successful candidate will report to the Service Manager and should have a proven background in servicing and maintaining HVAC equipment, with specific experience in the data center sector.Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform timely, accurate, and high-quality service, maintenance, and commissioning of HVAC systems in line with company standards and safety protocols.
  • Attend scheduled site visits as directed by the Service Controller and Manager.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to address emergency customer issues and meet specific KPIs.
  • Carry out planned preventive maintenance on equipment, adhering to manufacturer or third-party specifications.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults, identifying root causes and resolving issues to factory standards.
  • Complete assigned repairs and projects within scope and budget.
  • Maintain high standards while working in mission-critical environments.
  • Adhere to all industry regulations, including Health & Safety and F-Gas.
  • Follow RAMS procedures on all tasks.
  • Provide detailed and accurate maintenance reports within specified KPIs using the company’s service management software.
  • Identify and pursue service opportunities with both new and existing clients.
  • Offer support to team members in other regions when required by workload demands.
  • Take initiative when necessary and provide feedback to support continuous product improvement.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant certification in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, HVAC, or Mechanical/Building Services.
  • At least four years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC and Refrigeration/DX systems, including control systems.
  • F-Gas certification.
  • Experience with Air Handling, CRAC/CRAH, Split & VRF systems.
  • Knowledge of adiabatic cooling and chillers is desirable but not essential.
