Job Description

Position Summary:

Working as an Inbound Collections Specialist or Collection Representative in Spindale for a telecom giant, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, resolving payment issues, and facilitating timely and efficient collections on overdue accounts. You will work to provide outstanding customer service while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction or achieving and maintaining ORS or Overall Representative Satisfaction. This role is crucial in retaining valued customers while managing and resolving overdue payments efficiently.

What you will be expected to do as an Inbound Collections Specialist or collection agent in Spindale:

  • Customer Service Excellence: Answer inbound calls from customers with overdue accounts and provide clear, professional guidance on payment options, account details, and solutions.
  • Collections & Payment Arrangements: Assist customers in understanding their balances and due dates, setting up payment arrangements, and exploring options to help them bring their accounts current.
  • ORS (Overall Representative Satisfaction): Consistently meet or exceed ORS targets by delivering exceptional service and handling each interaction with empathy and efficiency.
  • Adherence to Call Metrics: Minimize hold time by staying organized and prepared on each call to ensure prompt responses and seamless transitions throughout the conversation.
  • Attendance & Reliability: Maintain excellent attendance to ensure consistent service and meet call volume needs, as well as a reliable schedule that supports the team’s goals.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Follow company policies and procedures, including legal compliance for collections, and accurately document all interactions in the system.

Job Requirements

What you will need to have to thrive as an Inbound Collections Specialist or collection representative in Spindale:

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service or collections, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
  • Ability to meet performance metrics, including ORS scores, call quality, and attendance.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to listen actively and provide solutions based on customer needs.
  • Proficiency in using call center software, CRM systems, and standard office tools.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex customer inquiries.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Achieve and maintain high ORS (Overall Representative Satisfaction) scores.
