Job DescriptionInfrastructure Project Manager.Our leading Financial Services client is currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with our strategic goals. This is a daily rate contract role based in Dublin.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage end-to-end infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Develop project plans, goals, and budgets, identifying resources needed.
Plan, manage, and communicate timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Ensure technical feasibility and the use of best practices and standards in all projects.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
Develop comprehensive project documentation, including detailed plans, schedules, and status reports.
Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of the project(s), including scope and change management.
Ensure that projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
Work closely with IT teams to ensure that all cloud infrastructure (AWS) meets the necessary security and compliance standards.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience as an Infrastructure Project Manager, preferably within [Industry].
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure platforms, particularly AWS.
Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale infrastructure projects, with a track record of successful project delivery.
Excellent knowledge of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, virtualization, cloud technologies, and data centers.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with flexibility to work both remotely and on-site as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
Familiarity with ITIL practices.
