Tasks
Your main tasks include, among others:
- To perform initial identification of components and prepare components and LOT boxes for initial disposition
- Disassembly of small part
- Local paint removal of parts after disassembly
- Assisting with improvements and changes to LTLGS documents and leasing with Internal customers to ensure changes / improvements are completed
- Assisting and working with the disposition team to meet deadlines and work effectivel
- Work to Production priority lists as detailed by Production Control
- Interface with Technical Engineering, Paint strip, Teardown, Measurement & other Production Departments
- To be aware of company policies, procedures and agreements in order to: work within established company policies, procedures and agreements
- An awareness and understanding of responsibilities outlined in the Company’s environmental procedures
- You will be required to maintain Practical Experience Record (PER) book
- You may be required to train personnel with a specified area subject to your qualifications

Requirements
The ideal Inspection Preparator should meet the following requirements:
- Experience within an Aerospace Engineering or equivalent Environment preferred
- Previous knowledge and experience of having worked with Landing Gear components
- Previous knowledge of manuals and Boeing websites
- Flexible approach to work
- Good attention to detail
- Good team player
- Good attitude to workshop housekeeping
- Able to work to tight deadlines
- Must be willing to work shifts
