This will help us provide the requisite assurance to the SuperGroup Audit Committee of a robust controls environment that will help us to stay ahead of the game.What you’ll be doingAs part of your role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Audit Planning and Execution:
  • Support the development of a comprehensive internal audit plan.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of potential risks.
  • Perform audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
  • Operational Efficiency:
  • Evaluate internal controls and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving measures.
  • Collaborate with departments to implement best practices and streamline operations.
  • Manage the tracking of issues and actions arising from internal audit work.
  • Reporting and Communication:
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Present audit results to senior management.
  • Maintain open communication with management to address audit issues and concerns.
  • Support the development of periodic audit committee reporting.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the internal audit team.
  • Ensure audit engagements are appropriately planned, scheduled, and conducted.
  • Assign and review audit tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.

You may be required to complete other reasonable duties to achieve business objectives.Essential qualifications and skills you’ll bring to the tableThe necessary qualifications and skills that we require for this role include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACA, CPA, CIA, or CISA.
  • Up to 8 years of experience of Internal Auditing in a professional services firm or in-house internal audit function.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with corporate governance requirements – local and international.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience of working collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a focus on achieving shared goals.
  • Expertise in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations.

Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeveIt would be great if you also have some of the following skills:

  • Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards.
  • Experience with data analytics tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of the Global Internal Audit Standards issued by The Institute of Internal Auditors, USA.
