The Opportunity:Internal Sales Specialist – ChemicalsAvantor is currently looking for a motivated Internal Technical Sales Specialist – Chemicals (f/m/d) to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. In this role, you will be the driving force behind delivering excellent customer service and internal account management to our key customers!If you are a recent life sciences graduate or someone looking to switch their career to sales and have a great understanding of chemicals, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!This is a full-time, permanent position. Interested? – Let’s talk!Working hours: Monday-Friday, hybrid working model (2 days in the office per week)The teamTogether with your seven colleagues, you are part of the Internal Technical Sales Team, helping our customers receive best-in-class service in identifying and providing products for their scientific needs.What we’re looking forEducation: Completed University Degree with a focus on Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or similarExperience: Experience in a Customer Relationship role (e.g. Sales, Customer Service)Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrable experience building strong relationships with key customer contacts & key internal stakeholders
• Ability to work to tight deadlines in line with KPIs
• IT literate, for example with MS Office applications
• Previous SAP knowledge would be an asset
• Prior experience within the Life Sciences industry is an advantage (but not essential)
• Excellent time management & telephone etiquette capabilities
• Highly professional written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive – can work with minimal supervision
• Comfortable with a fast-paced and dynamic working environment
• A proven team player

How you will thrive and create an impact

• Provide technical product support to customers and colleagues within the Chemicals product range
• Proactively sell the product ranges including cross-selling other products and services
• Create, negotiate, and follow up with quotations
• Source new products and manage the market source
• Establish relationships with suppliers to ensure the best technical and price support
• Participate in supplier training and meetings
• Support the sales teams with marketing campaigns
• Monitor competitors and market trends within your product portfolio
• Regular communication with the local sales organization, highlighting the performance of the product portfolio
• Participate in customer visits, exhibitions, events, and other marketing activities
• Develop sales forecasts for your portfolio of products
• Update all relevant customer interactions on our CRM system SAP C4C
