JOB DESCRIPTIONJob Title: International Financial AccountantReports To: International Finance and Tax managerDuration: 14 month contract (maternity cover)Location: Cork, Ireland. Work location and hybrid working can be discussed. We are open to applications from all across Ireland.Department: FinanceJob Summary:Working for Arlo, the International Financial Accountant will be responsible for accounting activities across a variety of International entities. The successful candidate will form part of a small sized team working in a fast-paced environment with worldwide responsibilities. Reporting directly to the International finance and tax manager there will be opportunity to gain significant exposure to all areas of Payroll, Financial Reporting and Tax. The team is highly focused on Learning and Development for all team members and engages regularly with diversity and inclusion initiatives.Organizational Relationships:This position will work closely with the Finance Teams based in Ireland, APAC & US regions. Various tasks would also encompass regular interactions with the various accounting service providers across the International region. Requirement to work US hours on an ad-hoc basis.Specific Responsibilities:

• Preparation of payroll for multiple international entities.
• Preparation of month end and quarter end Balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Preparation of quarterly tax provisions under US GAAP.
• VAT and other taxes compliance and reporting.
• Ensuring corporate income tax returns & financial statements filed on a timely basis.
• Equity administration for global organization.
• Support the payables function through payment reviews & other tasks as required.
• Ownership of Sarbanes Oxley compliance for area of responsibility.
• Handling Ad hoc audit requests, both for internal audit and external statutory audits.
• Intercompany calculations & invoice processing.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as required.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies:

• 2-3 years’ post qualification accounting experience including payroll preparation required.
• Experience or a keen interest in tax preferred.
• Previous experience working for a US company, with accounting experience in International regions preferred
• Enthusiastic, highly organized, outgoing, self-confident individual with strong communication skills, a focus on excellence and a desire to progress in the field of Finance
• Able to work independently, committed to learning and development, flexible
• Track record of managing month end close
• Advanced MS Excel Skills is required
• Experience of Oracle E-Business ERP system is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience of Sarbanes Oxley and Financial Reporting standards
• Strong team player, with a commitment to ensure team success in meeting objectives
