This is a great opportunity for a strong tax professional to further develop their technical skills, expand their experience and grow both personally and professionally.The Director will be responsible for managing a large portfolio of international and / or domestic corporate tax clients. They will gain broad consulting experience in a supportive and dynamic environment and be involved in the development of the wider tax team as well as leading business development initiatives.This firm offers a competitive remuneration package along with flexible working arrangements, generous leave entitlements, pension contributions, healthcare, gym membership and opportunity for accelerated career progression etc.Responsibilities include:Responsibility for a broad portfolio of international and / or large Irish domestic clientsProvision of tax consulting advice to some of the world’s largest multi-national groupsAdvising clients on large and complex cross border transactions including mergers, acquisitions, group restructurings, IP alignment planning, transfer pricing etcAssisting clients in developing international tax strategies and keeping up to date on tax developmentsWorking closely with Partners and other team members in providing advice to clients on a wide range of international tax advisory projectsProject management of Irish and cross border planning projectsResearching and reviewing tax technical memorandum and reportsLiaising with Irish Revenue and foreign tax authorities on behalf of clients.Opportunities to work with other service lines including across assurance, strategy, consulting, and transactions.Supervising and mentoring a large team across numerous levelsAbout the person:A qualified tax consultant, with good corporate tax experience and ideally some international tax experience. The person should be comfortable dealing with clients and building relationships.
