YOUR DUTIES AT DANONE : 

In the Nutrition team, this internship will take place in Gif-sur-Yvette (Medical & Nutritional Science department), in our Research & Innovation Center from January/February 2025.

The Danone Global Research & Innovation Center is made up of laboratories and pilot workshops at the cutting edge of science and technology, with employees working collectively to innovate on the dairy and plant products, waters and specialized nutrition of tomorrow. The Global Nutrition team is part of the Medical & Nutritional Science R&I department, dedicated to creating value and growth opportunities for Danone around Nutrition and/or Health.

Soline, Dietary Intake Scientist, will support you in your missions:

  • Manipulate and clean raw dietary data from National dietary surveys (20%)
  • Calculate dietary quality indexes and perform cross-sectional analysis on health benefits of yogurt consumption by developing R scripts (40%)
  • Summarize and Interpret study results on an oral presentation (20%)
  • Compare your results with previous analysis of yogurt (literature review) (20%)

  • Develop your skills in nutrition applied to the agri-food industry, and in data analysis using statistical software (R).
  • Up to 2 days/week of telecommuting
  • Possibility of working at head office in Paris (1 day/week)

  • You will receive a bonus ranging from €1,300 (Bac+4 and césure) to €1,500 (Bac+5) gross/month.

Ready to become a Danoner? We are looking for someone who is :

  • Available from January/February for 6 months 
  • Master 1/2 of higher education in Public Health with a specialization in nutritional epidemiology, or in agri-food engineering.
  • Experience in data analysis using R software would be a plus
  • Strong interest in data analysis
  • Scientific rigor and analytical skills
