We provide our corporate and institutional clients with capital markets and financial advisory services and integrated solutions. We’re on the lookout for talented individuals to join our London Investment Banking teams covering Power, Utilities and Energy Communications and Media, Verticalized Software Data and Analysis, and Mining as Investment Banking Summer Analysts and support a franchise with exceptional growth prospects. We believe that diversity is key to our success in competitive global marketplaces and we embrace people with a wide range of unique experiences and abilities.Position OverviewAs an Investment Banking Analyst, you will work under the direction of a senior officer and with other experienced professionals in the VSDA team, helping to generate ideas, advise clients and execute transactions.How you will contributeResearch and analyze clients’ financial situations, industry and market dataDevelop operating and valuation models of private and public companies as well as merged entitiesApply valuation tools to assess opportunitiesPrepare external client presentations, proposals and internal memosAid senior team members with idea generation and in all phases of M&A transaction executionWork proactively across multiple product groups and geographiesTo be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:2:1 or above degree (or equivalent) qualificationPrevious work experience in corporate finance or investment bankingDemonstrated experience in relevant financial modelling and valuation workGenuine interest in software, data and analyticsStrong numerical and analytical skills, and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver accurate results under time pressureEntrepreneurial spirit with strong judgment able to work with minimal supervisionExcellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels of the organization, including external stakeholdersFluency in at least one additional European language is advantageousTerms of the offer:The role will be based in our 33 Cork Street London officeTD offers a flexible work environment with up to 2 days per week working from homeShared CommitmentsExecutives promote adherence to TDBG’s vision and purpose to be the better bank, and enrich the lives of customers, communities and colleagues.
