Job description
We currently have a vacancy for an IT Infrastructure Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks
- Establish, maintain and promote IT Architecture Governance;
- Engage with diverse stakeholders, including business units, developers, integrators, and operators, to consolidate technical visions;
- Propose architecture views that address the concerns of various stakeholders;
- Continuously monitor and enhance the model, incorporating new ideas and Innovations;
- Propose architecture solutions, including systems, components, and service architecture (e.g. SOA, mini-services, microservices, API design, eventdriven communication);
- Ensure that the system design aligns with non-functional requirements such as volume, scalability, confidentiality, integrity, and availability;
- Produce and review documents, including system and application architecture documents;
- Provide regular reports to designated officials, highlighting progress, challenges, and recommendations.
Requirements
- University degree combined with relevant IT professional experience of 13 years;
- Experience in Project management in the area of IT infrastructure;
- Experience with project management tools & methodologies;
- Experience with project coordination procedures, preferably involving a recognized methodology;
- Experience with producing and reviewing documents, including system and application architecture Documents;
- Experience with proposing architecture solutions, including systems, components, and service architecture (e.g. SOA, mini-services, microservices, API design, eventdriven communication);
- Ability to produce minutes, notes, business cases, vision documents, statements of work, service level agreements, terms of collaboration, planning schedules, etc.;
- Experience in Public Administration is an asset;
- Excellent command of the English language
