Job Title: IT Project Engineer

Job DescriptionScope of RoleWorking within Service Delivery, this role is responsible for the technical delivery of the IT product to our customers.Duties and responsibilities

• Take complete ownership of IT projects and oversee communication with the customer at every stage.
• Perform engineering for implementation, onboarding, migration, and setup for customer IT projects.
• Provide end-user training for newly installed systems and software.
• Conduct site surveys and assist with scoping ahead of IT projects.
• Scheduling work with customers and members of the engineering team at Aerial Direct appropriately.
• Follow project Statement of Works and ensure all is delivered as scoped.
• To provide technical support to other Aerial team members when required.
• To step in and help Pre-Sales when required.
• To fully document process and delivery.
• To be the lead on finding and implanting new and better ways of working.

Customer Service

• To be the face of Aerial Direct and provide top class industry leading Customer Service.
• To constantly update your customers, making sure they are clear on our process and confident in your ability to deliver their new services.
• To collate feedback when required, and to act on that feedback.
• To ensure Customers are confident and trained appropriately on their services.
• To ensure all services are demonstrated working for your customers.
• Make recommendations to our customers on other services they could benefit from with Aerial.
• To liaise with other 3rd parties to ensure installation work is carried out quickly and to the highest of standard.

Training

• To ensure training is completed as required by Aerial Direct.
• Be a wealth of knowledge for all Aerial Direct supplied products and services.
• Know our product set and set ups to expect level.
• Keep up to date with industry changes and new additions to our product services.
• Pass any examinations or accreditations required to do your role.
• Be up to date with Cyber Security training and GDPR requirements to ensure we keep data safe.

Experience
All desirable but not essential

• High level of Windows 10/11 and Windows Server knowledge.

• Expert in Microsoft 365 products and solutions.
• Experience in using VMware vCenter and ESXi.
• Migration of mail and file systems.
• Setup of Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
• Deployment and Implementation of Antivirus, EDR and security software.
• Deployment and Implementation of RMM systems.
• Setup and testing of cloud backup software.
• CCNA-level Networking capabilities

Qualifications

• 3 x GCSE A-C grades or equivalent.
• Full driving licence is required.
