Job DescriptionOur Financial Services client is looking for an IT Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.Job Responsibilities
- Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, IT staff, and external vendors to define project scopes, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans to track progress using appropriate verification techniques.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
- Perform risk management to minimise project risks.
- Facilitate the Agile methodology and practices within project teams, acting as a Scrum Master where necessary.
Experience Required
- Proven work experience as an IT Project Manager in the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of complex IT project management, especially in system integrations, software development, and technology deployment.
- Experience working with senior-level management and influencing key stakeholders.
- Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum development process is essential.
Educational RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or related field.
