We currently have a vacancy for an IT Security Specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on siteYour tasks

• Conduct computer forensics investigations on targeted cyber attacks and other security-related incidents involving leak of sensitive non-classified or classified information (may including malware, analysis and behavioural analysis to produce cyber threat intelligence);
• Research and development of new solutions to perform better response to ever-developing cyber attack risks;
• Regular participation in the main IT Security events and gathering research stakeholders in the field;
• Involvement in the internal research workgroups to develop internal Information Security policies.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline combined with a minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Experience with digital forensics;
• Experience with installing and configurating of security industry-standard solutions such as e.g., MISP, OpenCTI and theHIVE;
• Experience with programming languages: Bash/Shell Scripting, Python;
• Experience with writing user documentation for information systems and in the domain of IT security;
• Experience with high quality standards and performing risks analysis in the context of IT Security;
• Experience in penetration testing;
• Good knowledge of malware analysis, malware reverse-engineering and assembly language;
• Good knowledge of Disassemblers, Debuggers and of malware analysis tools, e.g., IDA, OllyDbg, Cuckoo Sandbox, etc;
• Good knowledge of Microsoft and Linux Operating Systems;
• Good knowledge of security technologies like: Antivirus, Firewalls, IDS, network analysers (e.g., Wireshark);
• Knowledge of offensive security techniques and procedures;
• Knowledge of computer forensics tools, e.g., EnCase, Access Data, and FTK; and the maintenance of the “forensic chain”;
• Knowledge of other languages like Java, C/C++ would be considered as an asset;
• The following certificates would be considered as an asset: SANS, EC-Council CEH or Offsec;
• Excellent command of the English & French language.
