As an IT Services Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and assistance to our internal staff. The position involves troubleshooting and resolving IT issues, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, and maintaining the highest level of customer support and satisfaction. You will be responsible for addressing a wide range of technical queries and incidents.Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the initial point of contact for all IT-related queries and issues.
• Provide timely and professional responses to incoming support requests via email, phone, or ticketing system.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and resolution of software and hardware issues.
• Assist users with password resets, account setups, and access permissions and more.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams for further investigation and resolution.
• Handle escalated technical issues where applicable.
• Conduct in-depth troubleshooting to identify the root cause of issues.
• Utilise remote support tools to assist users with software installations, configurations, and updates.
• Diagnose and resolve basic network connectivity issues, including LAN, WAN, and VPN problems.
• Collaborate with third-party vendors and suppliers to resolve technical issues related to hardware and software.

Essential skills/experience:

• Proven experience as a Service Engineer with a focus on Microsoft products.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft ecosystems, including Azure, Office 365, and related services.
• Experience with system administration, network configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Documentation and Knowledge Management:

• Document all support activities, solutions, and troubleshooting steps in the knowledge base.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and standard operating procedures.
• Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues to promote continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Information Technology Projects:

• Participate in projects as assigned by Lead Service delivery engineer.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute project tasks within established timelines and budgets.
• Provide technical expertise and support during project planning, implementation, and testing phases.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience in engaging with customers within a fast-paced professional environment at all levels.
• Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows, iOS, Office 365, Azure, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Intune, and networking principles.
• Familiarity with networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality support services.
