About The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and customer-oriented IT Infrastructure Engineer / 3rd Line Engineer to join our IT Systems Team as an IT Systems Engineer.In this role, you will act as the escalation point for our Service Desk and Desktop teams, as well as the wider business. You will take ownership and run small- and large-scale projects alongside Business-as-Usual objectives, ensuring seamless technical support for the organisation, including our showrooms and IT teams. A strong focus on collaboration and a “One Team” mentality is essential.This is Hybrid role based in Barton-Upon-Humber.Main responsibilities:

• Act as a 3rd-line escalation point, providing technical support across hardware, software, cloud platforms, and third-party applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly, meeting SLAs and performance targets.
• Manage and deliver IT projects, ensuring timely and on-scope completion.
• Support all business areas, promoting a unified “One Team” approach.
• Collaborate with departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Maintain accurate documentation for knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Enhance knowledge bases to empower users with self-service solutions.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through clear communication and timely updates.
• Work flexible core hours (07:00–17:00) on rotating shifts and participate in the On-Call rota for 24/7 coverage.
• Continuously develop skills and stay updated on emerging technologies.

About YouRequirements:

• Proven experience in Enterprise-level 3rd-line/Infrastructure support.
• Expertise in virtualisation, storage solutions, PowerShell, and Windows Server.
• Experience with Azure/AWS in cloud and hybrid environments.
• Strong Jira administration skills, including experience in configuring and maintaining projects, workflows, permissions, and custom fields.
• Familiarity with Zoom administration, user support, and integration.
• Understanding of networking infrastructure and security best practices, including vulnerability mitigation and patch management.
• Strong customer focus with a collaborative mindset for working across teams.
• Dependable in meeting SLAs and ensuring user satisfaction.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks, prioritising by urgency and impact.
