Job description

We currently have a vacancy for a Java Application Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks:

• Development, testing, code review, and maintenance of software applications;
• Analysis of the integration of different information systems;
• Data analysis, data modelling and production of software architecture documents;
• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture;
• Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers;
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting;
• Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate them in the cloud.

Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 13 years;
• In-depth experience of Java EE 8 or higher;
• Expertise of Java tools and frameworks: Spring data (2.x and 3.x), Spring 5.x, Spring Security 5.x, Hibernate 5.x, Spring Boot (2.x and 3.X);
• Experience with Front-end tools and frameworks: Angular (at least version 10+), eUI, HTML5, CSS, JQuery, TypeScrpit, JavaScript;
• Experience with Middleware and back-end: Weblogic and Oracle RDBMS (atleast 12.x);
• Experience with Java Message Service (Queues and Topics);
• Experience with Continuous Security Assurance: Fortify, SonarQube and/or OWASP DependencyChecks;
• Experience with Swagger;
• Experience with running and managing containerized applications via Docker and Kubernetes;
• Excellent command of the English language.
