Lex Consultancy is excited to be partnered with a leading Property Developer with the hiring of a Junior Buyer to join an expanding team on a permanent contract based in Dublin 4.This opportunity offers excellent career development opportunitiesKey responsibilities of the Junior Buyer:

• Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier relationships
• Negotiate terms and conditions, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms
• Source and procure equipment and materials according to project specifications and production requirements
• Assess potential suppliers for quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
• Communicate effectively within a team environment
• Analyse pricing and data
• Create, manage and track purchase orders, ensuring accuracy ,compliance with company policies and meet project deadlines
• Resolve issues related to shortages, overages, or quality discrepancies
• Order materials and raise purchase orders for sites on a daily basis
• Purchase materials and arrange hire tools for sites
• Verify and authorise supplier invoices, addressing any discrepancies or issues with deliveries

Key skills of the Junior Buyer:

• Experience in a similar role within the construction industry
• Strong negotiation skills
• Analytical abilities and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
