What You’ll Do
As a Knowledge Expert (KE), Team Manager within BCG’s Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Practice Area, focusing on Technology, you will deliver against the client and commercial priorities for the Sector/Topic business. You will grow and deploy a team of Sector/Topic experts to support case work, content development and business build initiatives. You will drive the IP/content agenda, with support from the team, and lead execution of IP projects. You will be responsible for team’s performance across all KPIs (case billability, quality, content creation, etc.).
Additionally, as a KE, Team Manager, you will engage with case teams & clients based on your individual expertise and demonstrate differentiated impact and value-add to BCG clients and case teams.
Specifically, this candidate will be asked to lead a joint squad of 5 direct/indirect reports to work on cases and IP for Global Business Services topics and/or IT Services clients locally in India. With major shifts happening in IT services business across delivery needs, technology, and customer needs, there is a need for fast-track transformation. We work across the full spectrum of players on growth acceleration, design automation for digital and vertical offerings, organization design, M&A support, and end-to-end margin improvement. The candidate is expected to understand these topics to support the case teams.

The Knowledge Team (KT) is a group of functional and/or industry experts leveraging deep domain knowledge to enable insight for case teams and clients. KT members are affiliated to BCG Practice Areas, plugged into the strategic agenda, and building & deploying IP data tools/assets to deliver insight.
BCG’s Knowledge Team members are staffed on cases and help co-create insights with case teams and clients through expert perspectives on industry trends, delivery of proprietary data or tools in a particular function and complex research and analysis of market information. KT members also support the PA’s business development and proposals and help to organize and codify the knowledge that enables BCG to deliver superior business value for its clients.
