Overview
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel to work sites to gather survey details and professionally map cable path
- Complete cable cutovers (aerial, house wrap/crawl, id drops and connect at tap)
- Drive a company vehicle between home/office, warehouse, and work sites in a safe and courteous manner
- Maintain a clean and stocked vehicle with equipment in order to be prepared to perform required duties
- Complete paperwork accurately and report and record all work order status updates
- Greet and interact with customers in a professional, courteous manner
- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Have knowledge of cable designs and basic construction practices of cable systems
- Be able to read and interpret maps, drawings, and diagrams associated with cable systems
- Experience in working through inclement weather
- Experience with small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
- Experience or are comfortable with working in tight spaces such as a crawl space of a house
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
High School diploma, G.E.D or equivalent experience
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to analyze and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working regular hours and weekends with the ability to be available after hours for emergencies. Work performed in an office setting or in the field on job sites where there are weather conditions, noise, and the conditions of residence.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is:
- Standing six – eight hours daily

- Repetitive Motion (grasping, manipulation) zero – two hours daily
- Occasionally lift and carrying weights of 50 to 60 pounds
- Rarely lifting weights up to 100 pounds
- Constantly required to talk and hear
- Constant close and far vision distance abilities required
