Facilities & Building Services Assistant I – LDA
Lone Oaks Farm
Pay Grade 01
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Building Services Assistant I – LDA. position is housed at Lone Oaks Farm, a facility operated by UT Extension. The position is responsible to the Building Services Assistant II. This is a 40 hour per week position.
Duties include:
- Provide custodial services and other general facilities support at Lone Oaks Farm, a 4-H and events center in West Tennessee.
- Cleaning and provisioning residences and meeting/event spaces.
- Maintaining inventory of supplies in residences.
- Greeting guests upon arrival to the Farm
- Coordinating with service providers to provide access to Farm facilities
Qualifications
Minimum/Required Qualifications (include education experience, skills & abilities, licenses & certifications):
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 1 year of related experience required.
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, positive attitude, strong work ethic and physical stamina to complete duties in a timely and excellent manner.
- Knowledge of and experience in custodial services.
- Ability to operate custodial equipment.
- Clear background check will be required.
- Must have a valid Driver’s license.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in custodial services, particularly in the hospitality industry.
