Make an Impact by:

• Lead the design and architecture of SD-WAN solutions to meet business requirements and optimize network performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define SD-WAN requirements, assess existing network infrastructure, and develop strategic roadmaps.
• Develop technical designs, solution architectures, and implementation plans for SD-WAN deployments.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams throughout the SD-WAN lifecycle, from design and implementation to ongoing support and optimization.
• Evaluate SD-WAN technologies, vendors, and products to make recommendations based on technical capabilities, scalability, and alignment with business goals.
• Define and enforce SD-WAN standards, best practices, and policies to ensure consistency, security, and reliability across the network.
• Conduct proof-of-concept testing and pilot deployments to validate SD-WAN solutions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with security teams to integrate security controls, compliance requirements, and threat mitigation strategies into SD-WAN architectures.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to SD-WAN, network architecture, and cloud networking.

Skills for Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as expert level in SDWAN technology, VMware VCDX-NV, or equivalent certifications preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in network engineering with a focus on SD-WAN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN platforms such as Cisco Viptela, VMware, or similar solutions.
• Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching, and VLANs.
• Strong understanding of WAN technologies, including MPLS, VPN, and Internet circuits.
• Experience with cloud networking technologies and integration with SD-WAN solutions.
• Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
