Lead Electrical Project Manager – Data centres – DusseldorfOur client is a dynamic, fast growing data centre developer. They have grown rapidly, mainly through acquisitions, over the last few years and now operate 60 different sites across Europe. The organisation is still heavily in acquisition mode and are about to add a further 10-sites to their portfolio with advanced talks for others that may come to fruition over the next 12-18 monthsOur client is about to embark on a series of upgrades, improvements, refurbishment and extensions to their existing German sites, and they are now seeking a Lead Electrical Project Manager to join the team.Responsibilities

  • Design Coordination and Technical Oversight (LP4–LP5):

Lead the review and coordination of detailed electrical design deliverables, ensuring alignment with client specifications, industry standards, and German building codes (DIN, VDE). Provide technical leadership during design development and construction documentation phases.

  • Construction Phase Management (LP6):

Oversee the execution of electrical installations during construction, managing subcontractors, monitoring progress, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Proactively address site issues and technical conflicts in coordination with other disciplines.

  • Stakeholder Interface and Communication:

Act as the primary point of contact for all electrical matters with clients, design consultants, contractors, and local authorities. Ensure timely communication of design changes, progress updates, and risk mitigation strategies.

  • Schedule, Cost, and Change Control:

Manage the electrical scope within the overall project timeline and budget. Monitor progress against milestones, validate contractor claims, and evaluate change requests in coordination with the commercial and scheduling teams.

  • Commissioning and Handover Preparation:

Support the commissioning strategy and witness key electrical testing procedures to ensure systems are fully operational and meet performance requirements. Lead documentation closeout and ensure as-built records and O&M manuals are completed to handover standards.RequirementsMust have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
Previous Data Centre construction experience is desired
Must be German speaking
Must have EU Passport or RTW in GermanyBenefits
€130,000 DOE + Package
