Legal Counsel – Investment Funds

You will join a team of five lawyers in providing general legal support to the organisation across its range of statutory functions and in particular to several funds that are controlled and managed by them.In order to be considered, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Solicitor or barrister qualified to practice in Ireland with a minimum of 8 years’ relevant PQE at a senior level in a leading law firm or in-house;
- Excellent technical knowledge in some or all of the following core areas:
- Fund investments;
- Investment structures and transactions;
- General corporate practice, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance;
- Contract law;
- Administrative law
Expected Skills & Competencies:
- An ability to quickly understand key business issues and operational objectives;
- Excellent analytical skills, together with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- An ability to advise and communicate effectively with stakeholders at a senior level.
- An ability to handle multiple workstreams simultaneously, deal with conflicting agendas and meet deadlines;
- Excellent analytical skills, together with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- An effective and confident communicator of complex messages (written and verbal) to both internal and external audiences;
- Good interpersonal skills and a positive team member;
- Commercially minded, decisive, highly organised and principled;
- An ability to advise and communicate effectively with stakeholders at a senior level.
