Legal AssistantFleetSalary dependent on experienceOur well-established client has a fantastic opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join their busy Private Client team, based at their Fleet office.This is a junior assistant role to start, but with the possibility of progression and training for the right candidate.PurposeTo assist and support fee earners with secretarial and administrative duties.Job DescriptionThe Role

• Providing typing and administration support to one or more lawyers
• Audio typing (BigHand)
• Opening and closing files
• Diary management, preparing lawyers for external meetings
• Carry out money laundering and ID checks
• Typing of legal documents, Wills, LPA’s, Estate Accounts
• Witnessing wills
• Liaise with Clients, Solicitors , Barristers Chambers
• Attend client meetings
• Assist with preparation of invoices
• Taking credit card payments
• Booking events, training etc
• Assist with the marketing of the department

The Candidate

• Ideally you will possess recent Private Client experience
• Experience with all Microsoft Office packages, excellent Audio Typing skills
• The ability to work to tight deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent communications skills and a team player.

Expected salary

£22000 – 25000 per year
