Together we bring the diversity of our people’s skills and backgrounds to make the right choices with our clients, for our company and for our own futures.The opportunityWe, Atos in Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands and Nordics (BNN), are looking for highly qualified Legal Counsel with at least 3-4 years of post-qualified experience to oversee the legal aspects of a leading technology services company.The Legal Counsel will be an active participant in the day to day legal operations, corporate compliance and strategic matters and an integral part of the legal team in the BNN region.The right candidate should preferably be a qualified legal counsel (LLM) with demonstrable experience obtained in a lawfirm or top-tier commercial firm, preferable within IT or technology services, to support the commercial and legal function of Atos. Ideally, your experience will have included on the one hand drafting, negotiating and advising on contracts and issues related to commercial contracts (outsourcing, consulting, licensing, hosting and other services Atos offers its customers and including for compliance and GDPR matters) and on the other hand corporate law matters, such as corporate secretariat, managing corporate filings, resolutions and drafting and organizing corporate affairs documents.Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Support the legal department, including implementing and supervising processes
• Manage and coordinate the handling of varied legal and transactional matters.
• Support and execute end-to-end complex projects
• Review, drafting, and negotiation of a wide variety of commercial contracts working closely with Atos commercial, procurement and sales leads ensuring alignment with the Group’s key guidelines for commercial engagements
• Advising in contract reviews and approval processes
• Support and work with corporate secretariat matters in collaboration with the General Counsel for the legal entities in the region.
• Prepared and organize corporate filings, board minutes, records and provide advice to the senior management and board on corporate matters
• Participate in Group Legal Department activities and projects

In short you will become a part of a diverse, hardworking, energetic, and truly international team of lawyers working for Atos within the BNN region specifically, and Atos globally in general.Practical information:The Legal Counsel will work closely together with Senior legal counsel in Belgium. The position is primarily based in Atos office in Brussels, Belgium. Limited travel activity is to be expected. Atos has a hybrid working model with a mix of in office and work from home, and we have a high degree of flexibility in our way of working to allow for a good work/life balance. Our work language is English. Experience or proficiency with Flemmish and/or Dutch is a plus.Planned commencement of role is as soon as possible.Key skills and experience:To be successful in this role, you’ll need a rich combination of experience, knowledge, proven skills, personal attributes and a willingness to learn, including:
