If you possess a proven record of achievement, coupled with enthusiasm and a team-oriented mindset, we invite you to be a part of our journey.Role Overview:Your responsibilities will include overseeing the daily management of our Leisure Services Agreement and ensuring the relationship with Places Leisure, our service provider, is positive. You will lead, manage and develop the service, ensuring a community-focussed approach is maintained and offer operational advice to help develop our policy and strategy.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and develop the Leisure Service team to provide a resilient, customer-focussed, efficient, and cost-effective service.
• Oversee the daily management of the Council’s Leisure Services Agreement and ensure the relationship with Places Leisure, our leisure operator, is positive.
• Support the on-going development of the outdoor sports and leisure offer across the district, working with key sports clubs, National Governing Bodies and other stakeholders to identify funding opportunities and deliver key projects.
• Offer operational advice in support of the Council’s priorities and strategies and contribute towards their development.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experienced in contract delivery, monitoring and management.
• Experienced in managing a team.
• Experience in delivering capital and revenue projects.
• Budget control experience.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
