About Point
POINT was established in 2015 in Turkey as a non-profit humanitarian organization by a group of Syrian diaspora humanitarian partitioners. POINT is fully registered in Turkey, and Iraq, as a humanitarian organization with its HQ based in Gaziantep-Turkey and several field country offices in Syria, and Iraq.

To stabilize civil communities socially and economically.
POINT Mission:
To enhance the knowledge, abilities, and skills, of affected civilians and local actors by providing them with fundamental means and creating opportunities for a greater role in community stabilization.
POINT portfolio focuses on multiple sectors including Early Recovery and Livelihood (ERL), Camp Coordination and Camp Management (CCCM), Food security and livelihood (FSL), Protection, education, capacity building, and other sectors.
POINT works in three countries (Turkey, Syria, and Iraq) closely with civilians like IDPs, Refugees, Returnees, and host communities, in addition to the local initiatives, local NGOs, and INGOs.
Furthermore, POINT has organized to hire all needed experts, skills, and tools that are necessary for POINT mandate in resilience and organization development.
POINT HQ is based in Gaziantep Turkey to oversee the entire regional operations. POINT Syria field offices are located in Idleb in Azaz. Additionally, POINT has 9 protocols with the Turkish institutions). In Iraq, POINT has an active registration in both KRI and Iraqi governorates, the field office is in Erbil.
We believe at POINT that the best solutions to support the people in crisis should be by a quick transformation from rapid response to resilience method, as this approach within humanitarian operations is crucial to the first efforts of a community to recover, rise again, and start to use their capacity, starting from education and livelihood at the first stages, ending by early recovery and rehabilitation at later stages.
Purpose the Position
to ensure compliance with legal regulations in Turkey, manage contracts and services, coordinate with government entities, and support the organization’s operations through effective reporting, document management, and communication.
Line manager: Admin & Logistics Sn officer
Main Tasks:
- Compliance with Laws and Regulations in Turkey:
Assist in ensuring compliance with laws and regulations related to the Associations Law in Turkey.
Serve as the point of contact for POINT operations in Turkey, ensuring they align with laws and regulations under the direct supervision of the line manager.
- Contract and Service Management:
Ensure that all contracts with service providers, such as the monthly accountant and internet service provider, are up to date, and that monthly payments comply with POINT’s policies.
Regularly monitor and renew all relevant contracts.
- Monthly Reporting:
Provide monthly reports to the line manager, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Supervision of Legal Documents:
Ensure that all legal books, including decision books and documents, are up to date according to provided instructions and in a timely manner.
Follow up on residence permit and work permit applications in coordination with the law office.
- Communication with Government Entities:
Act as the point of contact for coordination with the Gaziantep Association Office, ensuring that POINT’s contact information is up to date.
Prepare and submit annexes to the provinces related to the transfer of funds to Turkey.
- Coordination with Government Entities and Reviews:
Support the line manager in coordinating government reviews with other departments.
Follow up and coordinate POINT protocols in collaboration with the Humanitarian Access team, ensuring they are regularly organized and archived.
- Preparing files and documents for the Derbis system under the supervision of the line manager.
- Translating documents and invoices in both English and Turkish under the supervision of the line manager.
Skills & Experience
- Good knowledge of the laws and regulations related to associations in Turkey.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with government and service entities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and other office tools.
- Previous experience working with non-profit organizations or associations in Turkey is preferred.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Additional certifications or coursework in logistics, legal compliance, or office management would be advantageous.
- Relevant experience in the non-profit sector may also be considered in lieu of specific academic qualifications.
