Our comprehensive range of high-quality solutions and technical services covers the entire electronics supply chain, empowering businesses to thrive in today’s competitive landscape.Who are we looking for?We now have an opportunity to join our growing Logistics team as a Logistics Co-ordinator. You will work closely with the Logistics Manager to co-ordinate the efficient movement of goods to and from the site, whilst ensuring legal compliance and administrative control in relation to transport rules and regulations.What will you be doing?
- Co-ordinate, monitor and administrate inbound and outbound freight both internationally and domestic.
- Arrange and monitor from quotation to delivery stage, dedicated/specialised transport (including air freights) for time critical outbound/inbound movements following cost approval process
- Co-ordinate, arrange and monitor all samples orders from sample request stage to delivery.
- Maintain the highest standard of archiving and data accuracy for site logistics.
- Complete export/import customs entries with 100% accuracy.
- Collate daily reports on all inbound/outbound movements for business wide visibility.
- Maintain and update the goods in and customer collections shipping calendars, working with the Warehouse Manager to ensure seamless movements in and out of the site.
- Work with the Warehouse team to aid and assist with the preparation of dangerous goods shipping paperwork.
- Work with the Customer Service team to prepare and control the issue of official paperwork from the Chamber of Commerce; this can include EUR-1 forms and Certificates of Origins
- Work with the Warehouse Manager to co-ordinate movements to and from 3PL warehousing sites.
- Perform regular checks on shipping paperwork to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Lead morning and afternoon inbound/outbound meetings with Warehouse Supervisors to update on inbound/outbound traffic.
- Pro-actively work with the Logistics Manager to identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist with administrative duties relating to the annual stock take.
Who are You?Ideally you will have:
- GCSE grade 4 in Maths and English, or equivalent, or through proven experience;
- Proven skills in the use of Microsoft packages, including Word/Excel;
- Knowledge of transport regulations relating to export and import of goods through previous experience including experience with ADR/hazardous goods handling and documentation.
