You’re the kind of person who’s always thinking three or four steps ahead, connecting the dots like an air-traffic controller, staying on top of what needs to happen next to keep everything moving and on time. You love working in a fast-paced environment. You’ve seen firsthand how teamwork makes the dream work, which is why you always lead by example, inspiring those around you to be as proactive, efficient, and accurate as you are.
The Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for all activities required to ensure accurate and timely receipt and shipment of orders. This includes coordination of the dock schedule, coaching and assisting leads, following up with freight carriers when needed, and completion of order management processes within the system. The ideal candidate for the role is organized and process / system oriented, communicates clearly and directly, acts with a sense of urgency, and understands the flow of data to solve problems. You will work closely with the shipping leads, production team, supply chain, and 3rd party logistics partners to meet the expectations and standards of Vital Farms and our customers.

What We Bring to the Table
Who We Are:
Vital Farms, a Certified B Corporation, offers a range of ethically produced foods nationwide. Started on a single farm in Austin, Texas, in 2007, Vital Farms became a national consumer brand that works with over 300 family farms and is the leading U.S. brand of pasture-raised eggs by retail dollar sales. Vital Farms’ products, including shell eggs, butter, hard-boiled eggs, and liquid whole eggs, are sold in over 24,000 stores nationwide. Vital Farms’ ethics are exemplified by its focus on the humane treatment of farm animals and sustainable farming practices. In addition, as a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation, Vital Farms prioritizes the long-term benefits of each of its stakeholders, including farmers and suppliers, customers and consumers, communities and the environment, crew members, and stockholders. In short, we exist to improve the lives of people, animals, and our planet through food.
