We offer flexibility, career progression and a competitive start rate.We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to join our team on a Full-time basis in Shannon, Co. ClareWorking pattern: Monday to Friday from 07:00-15:30Main duties and responsibilities:As Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all equipment, machinery, and systems within the industrial facility. This position ensures that operations run efficiently, equipment is maintained at optimal performance, and downtime is minimized. The Maintenance Manager will lead a team of maintenance technicians and be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a proactive maintenance program.
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive maintenance strategy for equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities to optimize asset reliability and performance.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with safety standards, company policies, and relevant legislation.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance on all equipment under our control as per the Plant CMMS / CAFM system
- Manage, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians to ensure high levels of technical performance.
- Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to source necessary parts and services.
- Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Lead the effort to identify opportunities for improvement in equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
- Utilise Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and failure analysis to address issues and improve equipment performance.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities for compliance audits.
Requirements:
- 5 Years’ Experience working in a similar role
- Certificate /Diploma or Senior Trades in Electrical / Mechanical / Automation
- Proven experience leading a team of technicians and managing maintenance projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Flexibility required for the on-call requests
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
