From FP&A partners to our accounts payable teams, our finance and accounting department is responsible for providing high-quality services to our internal partners, business leads and external suppliers. Our Finance and Accounting department is instrumental in supporting our business with the information it needs to make strategic decisions enabling us to do what we do best.
We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our EMEA team, holding responsibility for the production of monthly management accounts, ensuring their accuracy and reliability. You will join a close-knit team of 4 that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. You will be part of our wider Accounting organisation who offer a supportive and dynamic work environment.
What To Expect
Preparation of monthly management accounts including P&L analysis and commentary
Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, looking to constantly improve the quality of the reconciliations
Completion of monthly commentary file and quarterly reporting packs
Identifying and posting accruals and prepayments
Preparation of payroll journals
Bank reconciliations
Developing and maintaining robust controls and processes
Work closely with Financial Accountant and External Auditors in the preparation of statutory accounts
Assisting with implementing new processes and procedures
Ad hoc duties required by management or to meet the needs of the business
What We Expect
A pro-active approach to your work and the drive to challenge and improve existing processes/controls
High attention to detail with an inquisitive mindset
Highly organised, diligent and structured individual with the ability to work to tight deadlines
An enthusiastic team player with a positive mindset
Part qualified or Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent
2-5 year experience in Management Accounting
Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel
Oracle experience would be an advantage but is not essential
