Hartley People Recruitment in partnership with our client are hiring a Manufacturing Technician in Kilkenny.Your main responsibilities will be:

• Conduct scheduled maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot faults, and undertake repairs.
• Perform complex skilled maintenance and repairs, including mechanical, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Provide day-to-day operation support for conveyors, depositors, pick-and-place machines, and weighing machines.
• Compile and present technical feedback on engineering performance related to yield output.
• Lead maintenance and process issues, working independently or as part of a team.
• Monitor production processes, run diagnostic tests, and create comprehensive resolution reports.
• Certify and train manufacturing staff in production processes.
• Evaluate operating data to adjust products, instruments, or equipment.
• Identify and implement corrective actions for manufacturing-related issues.
• Install and validate equipment and processes in the production area to improve yield and reduce cycle time.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Level 6 qualification in a technical-related discipline.
• Strong technical and fault-finding skills.
• Experience with surface mount technology is an advantage.
• Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical disciplines is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial machines and the mechanical industry.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Work Order systems.
