Exciting Opportunity in Maritime ConsultantDo you have a passion for the maritime defence sector and a knack for simplifying complex problems?This is a unique chance to join a leading company (name confidential) and develop vital evidence for a range of maritime platforms, concepts, and technologies.What you’ll do:
- Develop exploitation evidence, including cost estimates, models, and operational analysis.
- Collaborate with teams at military and civil customer organizations.
- Plan, manage, and deliver contracts ranging from one month to one year.
- Analyse data, conduct research, and provide incisive advice to clients.
- Work within multi-disciplinary teams across different locations.

Qualifications and Experience: (Specific qualifications are less important than the following skills and experience)Essential:
- Knowledge of the UK Maritime Defence market and supply chain.
- Experience in quantitative analysis within the maritime domain.
- Experience collecting, interpreting, and normalizing cost data.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and liaison skills.
Desirable:
- Understanding of naval platform procurement approaches.
- Ability to develop life cycle cost/schedule/risk estimates.
- Experience with data visualization and presentation.
- Knowledge of Whole Life cost estimating practices.
- Understanding of MoD project controls and policies.
- Experience with project, program, and portfolio management.
- Prior experience working with the MoD or other government departments.
