As the Marketing Coordinator at the Kurt J. Lesker Company, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the online presence and brand visibility of our business. You will work closely with the global marketing team to implement and execute creative social media and marketing strategies that engage our target audience and drive business growth within EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India, Africa).

Summary:
The Marketing Coordinator will use a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts to think creatively, whilst devising new ways of promoting and enhancing the KJLC brand to its current and potential customer base. The Post holder will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of the EMEIA Marketing Department activities.

How you will contribute:

  • Create, curate, and schedule well written and engaging content across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Monitor social media channels for trends and opportunities, to build our brand
  • Contribute to the development of website content, ensuring it is up-to-date, informative, and aligned with the overall marketing strategy
  • Assist in the execution of other digital marketing initiatives, such as email campaigns, SEO optimization, and online advertising
  • Monitor and analyse social media and marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategy adjustments
  • Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the marketing department’s activities
  • Support marketing executives in organising and implementing various projects and strategies
  • Assist in the organising of promotional events and attend them to facilitate their success
  • Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to augment the company’s presence in the market
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate marketing activities and ensure consistent messaging
  • Assist in managing marketing budgets and tracking expenses

Qualifications:
Required

  • Marketing Qualification or previous experience in marketing position
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing tools
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to travel across Europe for trade shows/events

Desired

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Knowledge of design packages such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
  • Knowledge/experience in video editing software
