Role

Do you know what it takes to build a digital brand & product from the ground up? Have excellent taste, an understanding of people, and a strong grasp of brand & product marketing strategies? If that sounds like you, Piñata Farms is looking for a Marketing Lead to be our first marketing hire. As the first member of the marketing team, your role will largely be focused on developing our brand & product marketing strategy for the company. This is a pivotal role with the organization that will come with a lot of autonomy to build our marketing strategy from scratch.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop the Piñata Farms brand voice through custom marketing and advertising strategies
  • Build relationships with influencers, creators, and media outletsOversee social media accounts and ensure brand consistency
  • Track & measure the success of key community & user-specific metrics
  • Work with the Product, Content, and Community teams to deliver a high-quality experience to the entire user base
  • Analyze user behaviors on the app to improve retention and enhance the user experience
  • Keep up to date on all social media trends, technologies, and popular platforms
  • Develop and encourage a strong sense of community on the app
  • Identify new users and maintain engagement with identified users throughout their lifecycleShare your ideas, identify challenges, and actively suggest solutions
  • Become a Piñata Farms product expert

Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of experience in a marketing, social media, or a community-related role
  • Understand social media KPIs and performance metrics
  • Experience with all major social platforms, i.e. Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, etc.
  • Familiar with a start-up culture and being on a small fast-moving teamed
  • Has built and fostered a digital community or brand

Other details:

  • Located in Los Angeles – Remote applicants will be considered but local to LA and/or willingness to relocate is a plus
  • Full Time, with flexible remote work-from-home days and unlimited PTO
