We are also committed to training and developing our team members and ensuring their journey with us inspires them each day.About the roleDuties and Responsibilities of the Role:Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan aligned with the hotel’s overall business goals.Identify target audiences and key market segments for focused marketing efforts.Maintain and enhance the hotel’s brand image and positioning.Ensure consistency in messaging across all marketing channels.Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.Analyse online metrics and adjust strategies to optimize performance.Supervise the creation of engaging content for various platforms, including the hotel’s website, social media, and marketing collateral.Ensure content is aligned with brand guidelines and resonates with the target audience.Plan and execute advertising campaigns, both online and offline.Develop and coordinate promotions and special offers to drive bookings and revenue.Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and industry partners.Coordinate press releases, media events, and familiarization trips.Work closely with the sales team to develop marketing materials that support sales efforts.Assist in creating packages and promotions for different market segments.Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.Utilize insights to adapt marketing strategies.Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.Monitor expenses and evaluate return on investment for marketing activities.Utilize analytics tools to measure the performance of marketing campaigns.Provide regular reports and insights to management on key performance indicators.Plan and coordinate marketing events, including launches, openings, and promotional activities.Ensure seamless execution and positive brand representation.Requirements for the role:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; additional certifications in marketing are advantageous.Proven experience (2+ years) in a senior marketing role, preferably in luxury hospitality.Strong understanding of digital marketing trends and tools.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Creative thinking and the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas.Data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools.Project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Familiarity with graphic design and content creation tools is a plus.Team leadership and collaboration skills.Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.About the companyIndulge Yourself with Time Spent at The Johnstown EstateThe Georgian doors of this listed 18th Century rural residence open up to a haven of four-star comfort, luxury, warm service, great food, and lots of lovely ways to relax.We have two restaurants with different menus and styles; an airy, spacious atrium for Afternoon Tea or pre-dinner drinks; tastefully designed and relaxing guest rooms and lodges; and the newest – and most divinely tranquil – destination spa in Ireland.We help happy couples say ‘I do’ in front of the people they love – whether that’s 4 guests or 400.
