POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Manager, Master Data, the data specialists are chief data stewards for the Costa Farms ERP systems. The Master Data Specialist role requires knowledge of all the business areas and an in-depth knowledge of ERP fields and uses. The Specialist serves as an ambassador of our Servant Leadership and 3H culture: Humble, Hungry, Hustle. The specialist must be curious and ask questions and strive to systematic improvement to maintaining Costa data.

POSITION DUTIES 

• The specialist will work mainly in the ticket system and receive tickets from all enterprise customers to create products, modify products, validate product set-ups, etc.
• Decipher ticket requirements and make sure they are valid, vetted and appropriate.
• Specialists will need a broad understanding of product set-up attributes in ERP and be able work with stakeholders to fulfill requests.
• Support business rules around the data to execute on ticket completion as well as supporting the data integrity of the enterprise. While the specialist performs a requested task, they also understand how that request may impact other areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as computer science or equivalent information technology work experience.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in relational database data analysis, using Microsoft SQL Server technology stack to build queries and automate processes.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience with advanced features in Microsoft Excel, such as Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, and Data Import.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
• Experience with Azure cloud computing including Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Factory is a plus.
• Knowledge of languages such as DAX, C# and Python is a plus.
• Microsoft certifications in database, reporting, or development areas are a big plus.
