- Answer inbound technical customer queries and be the first point of contact for drivers
- Providing sound technical decisions by investigating the causes of mechanical failure, evaluating solutions and ensuring that financial decisions are negotiated
- Achieves agreed performance levels including any call management measures
- Manage vehicle mechanical repairs and routine maintenance, in accordance with the manufacturer’s service requirements and customer’s set parameters
- Ensure all customer queries are dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner
- Assisting with preventative and predictable maintenance. Carry out general administration duties daily.
- Be a part of the approvals team by reviewing high estimates, benchmarking costs and ensure the parts are fully required.
- Develop relationships and build rapport with customers and business partners to ensure customer satisfaction
- Additional duties or projects as requested by the Team Leader/Manager.
Requirements:
- Qualified mechanic is required
- Strong customer service and administration skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and prioritise
- Interest/knowledge of the motor industry or maintenance control experience.
- Excellent communication skills
- IT proficient
- Must be a self-motivated individual with an eagerness to learn and develop
- Flexibility
- LCV experience and commercial awareness is desirable
- Strong attention to detail
