- Certification in M&E or a related field is desirable.
- Further education in M&E Engineering is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Experience: At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a similar role.
- A strong desire to continuously improve installation quality and procedures.
- Experience with project management software platforms.
- Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Strong focus on meeting deadlines and commitment to project delivery.
- Willingness to travel between sites and a full driving license.
As a M&E Site Supervisor:
- Oversee the quality of M&E system installations across various residential projects, ensuring standards are met at all stages of the build process.
- Implement and enhance M&E quality systems, incorporating the use of online management tools.
- Manage M&E sub-contractors on-site to ensure they meet quality expectations and project timelines.
- Assist site construction management teams with on-site M&E installations and provide solutions to any issues that arise.
- Facilitate effective coordination and management of project design teams.
- Inspect and document sub-contractors’ quality work, conducting regular audits across multiple live projects.
- Contribute to the adoption of best-in-class M&E systems, products, and installation processes.
- Assist the internal aftercare team by troubleshooting and escalating M&E issues, and implementing lessons learned.
- Anticipate and manage the modification of existing site services and coordinate mains service diversions with Utility Providers and site teams.
- Liaise with Public Utility providers and local authorities to ensure timely delivery of essential services such as electricity, gas, water, and telecommunications to new developments.
