With a strong portfolio of work with one of our key clients, we are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to assist with the design, management and delivery of energy infrastructure projects in the gas sector. In addition to the upgrade and maintenance of critical key infrastructure, our team are actively assisting with the decarbonisation of this infrastructure to ensure future resilience and long-term sustainability. We are also exploring alternative fuel technologies such as hydrogen to add to our work streams.We are seeking a mechanical engineer (infrastructure) with several years relevant experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be looking to further his/her career and gain invaluable experience across a wide range of projects, within a friendly working environment. In particular, experience in carrying out mechanical infrastructure design, management and delivery of associated work packages, is desirable. Experience/interest in gas and hydrogen technologies is a distinct advantage. This is a permanent role in a really experienced team which offers the successful candidate excellent opportunities for continued learning, diversification of skills and career development.As a Mechanical Engineer on the Energy Team at Arup, you will:
