Mechanical Maintenance EngineerAre you ready to join a dynamic and forward-thinking company in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry?Our client, a leading firm known for its innovative solutions and exceptional service, is seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to become an integral part of their engineering team and collaborating closely with the Special Projects Director.Job Responsibilities
- Promptly repair and maintain plant and machinery to minimise downtime
- Execute machine changes correctly and swiftly to optimise productivity
- Continuously improve machinery productivity and efficiency
- Investigate complaints, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures
- Complete required GMP documentation and maintain detailed repair logs
- Provide accurate information for generating quotations
- Attend and contribute to daily scheduling and planning meetings
- Implement and follow the Planned Preventative Maintenance System to ensure machinery reliability
- Maintain authorised spares stock and advise on needed spares
Person Specifications
- Previous engineering experience in a production environment is essential. We welcome apprentice-trained candidates eager to learn and grow
- Experience in Pharma, Food, or Packaging industries is highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and implement effective solutions
- Proactive in improving line efficiencies and productivity
- Competent PC skills for documentation and reporting
Hours of Work, Pay, and Benefits
- Up to £36,000
- Monday to Friday
- 3:00pm to 11:00pm
- 25 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays
- Company pension
