Mechanical/Commercial Project Manager
Location: Midlands-Based (National Travel Required)
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 + Company Vehicle/Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:00 (Hybrid – 1 day per week in Nuneaton office)Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical/Commercial Project Manager to join a dynamic team delivering large-scale renewable energy installations across the UK. This role focuses on the end-to-end management of Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) projects, valued between £100k and £750k.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical and renewable energy projects
• Oversee site supervisors and coordinate subcontractors on-site
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients during the delivery phase
• Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and mitigate risks
• Ensure compliance with MCS and Renewable Heat Incentive schemes
• Use MS Project and Primavera for scheduling and reporting
• Attend client meetings and conduct regular site visits

Requirements:

• HNC in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• Proven experience in project management within mechanical or renewable sectors
• Familiarity with MCS standards and Renewable Heat Incentive frameworks
• Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, and Primavera
